From great to fabulous!

 

Avgerini Catering played a very special role in the fabulous success of our Wedding and week-long celebrations in a  beautiful villa in Corfu in September 2018.

From the initial contact made just four weeks prior to our wedding...(our original caterer unfortunately had to pull out last minute), Hills and the team helped calm a stressed bride and groom,instilling total confidence that the food would be beautiful and anything was possible.

And so it was!

Working together, we could draw on their extensive menus and make suggestions of our own. Catering for a number of different occasions and meals during the week, Avgerini totally understood the mood and ambience we wanted to create for our guests. The food was absolutely delicious... from dainty canapes to Corfiot dinners and light suppers, to absolutely delivering on our request for rustic, non- traditional wedding cakes!

What a team! They did a recce on the day we moved into the  villa to check on the sizes of ovens, fridges, equipment available, crockery and platters, lending us their own when necessary. They knew when people would be hungry and how much they would want to eat. They stacked dishwashers and helped tidy up...And they were generous and gracious to share recipes and cooking tips with us and our guests as well!

Last minute requests for birthday cakes and SOS txts for more ice and champagne flutes were never too much trouble.

If you want that personal touch, beautiful and simple food, prepared with love, the Avgerini team are charming and unflappable, and will turn your great occasion into a fabulous occasion!

Dawn and Hills organised a fabulous supper for my husband's birthday. We had 50 people with all the tables beautifully laid, plenty of staff- mainly young and all enthusiastic. The food was very good quality, delicious and presented with flair.Their attention to detail and their obvious desire to get things right was impressive. In addition the cost was very reasonable. If it was possible to give them stars we would give them the top 5*****. We would highly recommend and will certainly use again.

I want to thank Dawn, Hills and Zak, (the Avgerini Catering Team), for the most amazing Post-Wedding brunch! Dawn was amazing to work with and helped me create the perfect menu. I cannot say enough good things about them and am still daydreaming about the amazing coffee cake we had and the salmon eggs. Every guest was blown away by the food. Dawn and her team were the kindest and most professional and allowed us to enjoy the food without worrying about a thing. I am hoping that an after wedding brunch becomes a trend in Corfu and that you consider/book Avgerini Catering to do it for you! Thank you so much!

Just a little note to THANK YOU for the wonderful catering you prepared for us. We were very happy with quality, taste and packing of the products. The passengers ate the salmon mousse as a starter and the beef and fish for main. They finished everything and complimented the delicious catering. After the passengers disembarked, we as crew had dinner. The captains complimented the pasta vongole and how spectacular the fillet of beef was prepared enabling me to serve it medium/rare. I ate a small bit of everything and was most happy with taste and quality. The kumquat, the salmon, the fig...exceptional!!! Thank you very, very much for such nice food. We do hope to get another opportunity to work with you.
